Ashley is starting her second year in the Immunology PhD Program at UM. Currently, Ashley is a member of the Biomedical Association of Students in Health (BASH) and Science Engagement and Education for Kids (SEEK). Prior to coming to the University of Michigan, Ashley received her B.S in Biomedical Sciences from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. At Murray State, Ashley was a McNair Scholar and led the MSU chapter of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society as president. Her undergraduate work focused on studying autophagy in the context of C. elegans oogenesis. Ashley is currently interested in studying CNS autoimmunity.
Since Beginning Graduate School, Ashley has received the 2017 Bernard Maas Fellowship from Rackham Graduate School.
